UTEP Scores in Detroit, Again

For the third year, UTEP has received a commitment from a basketball player who has played for a city high school. In 2014 it's Detroit E. English Village's 6'4" 2014 shooting guard Marq'ywell Jackson.

Jackson is one of the state's top shooting guards and has been in Rivals top 100 in past years. He's a solid scorer from the perimeter and in who can score at the basket and above the rim. He has averaged or been near a 20ppg scorer his sophomore through senior year.

Freshman Vince Hunter along with red-shirt freshman Matt Willms played at Detroit Consortium and all three played for the Detroit Stars.
