Consortium Rolls to Class C Final

Detroit Consortium's Class C semi-final opponent Negaunee only trailed 12-11 after the first quarter, but would never get closer as the Cougars blew the doors open outscoring the team from the Upper Peninsula 20-7 in the second.  They will face Pewamo-Westphalia in Saturday's 4:30 final after today's win.

Sophomore wing Josh Jackson had a very good all-around game with 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists, amd five steals.  Fellow sophomore Luster Johnson finished with 20 and senior small forward Rudy Smith led all scorers with 22.

Negaunee was led by sophomore forward Jay Lori's 14, senior lefty guard Tyler Jadron's 12, and senior guard Eric Lori's 11.

Negaunee finishes the season 24-2.
